This is a concept mini-EP made from "found sounds" I recorded from random radio stations I could pick up while in London in 2009.

The process of recording was to find a radio station and record 40 seconds of audio without listening to what I was getting, then move on to another station.

After I had amassed a few dozen such clips I set about cutting them into the five short tunes that make this EP.

The result is a mad mix of fragments from talk radio, singing, music and of course radio static. Harsher sounds are from FM, softer (and foreign language) ones from AM.
